Braeriach is a handsome traditional manse house dating back to the late 1800's. Situated on the banks of the River Spey as it flows out of Loch Insh.
It enjoys breathtaking views of the Cairngorm Mountains in particular the summit of Braeriach, the third highest mountain in Great Britain after which the house is named.
We have four letting rooms, three with River Spey and mountain views, all en suite.
One is a very large king size room which also has a single bed ideal for a family of three.
Two are large doubles with king size beds and the other is a downstairs double, ideal for those who wish to avoid the stairs, this room is also dog friendly.
After a day out enjoying the Scottish Highlands, come home and relax with a 'wee dram' beside a real log fire. The guest lounge offers free Wi-Fi, television, DVDs or a good book, there is also a good selection of games.
The picturesque garden extends to private jetty at the water's edge, then up to the mountain beyond. Take a moment to see if you can spot some of our other visitors! Ospreys, Mergansers, Buzzards and Pheasants are all known to carry out a fly by.
You'll also be able to spot Otters, Deer and Red Squirrels.
Our canoe is a popular attraction, providing hours of pleasure on the river and loch.
